xxThe X-Files: I Want to Believe

Excerpts taken from Wikipedia:

Quote
The producers have only revealed that it will take place six years after the events of the series.[3] It is also known that, unlike the first film, the plot will not focus on the series' ongoing "mythology" and will instead be a standalone thriller/horror story, similar to many of the "monster-of-the-week" episodes that were frequently seen in the TV series.

In an interview published March 27, 2008, Carter stated that the film would be consistent with the entire X-Files story arc, as Scully's child William would "not go unconsidered" in the film, and that it "takes place in the present and uses a story envisioned when the series ended"

Here's the official trailer via Youtube:

Personally I'm very excited for this movie, and the upcoming series thats supposed to follow it. I was always a fan of the X-Files series up to the very end, despite what most people thought about how the series died after David left, though it wasn't as good at first the story did get deep and still ended up revolving around Molder at the end. The X-Files was probably one of the only series i can think of that ended very well too. If you're an X-Files fan, drop a line and tell us what you think.

xxGood Shows Start Again Finally
posted by Prowler at April 02, 2008, 11:45:47 PM

A week from tomorrow marks the return of NBC's Thursday lineup, which consists of a few dozen shows I couldn't give less of a shit about, as well as Scrubs and 30 Rock.  I swear to god reality television is the biggest steaming pile of crap. Please, writers, never go on strike again.
